From the blessing of His Excellency Myhail Koltun, Bishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy of Sokal-Zhovkva, Father Taras Dzoba has been taking administrative and spiritual care over the parish since 2013.
Fr. Taras was born on August 7th 1987 in the town Brody, near Lviv, where he completed his secondary education.
Since 2004 he’s been studying at Seminary of Ivano-Frankivsk and Ivano-Frankivsk Theological Academy, which was finished with a Master of Theology degree in 2011.
On the 7th of April, 2011 Fr. Taras was ordained to a minor order by the Reverend Myhail Koltun, and on September 25th same year ordained as a deacon.
At St. Josaphat’s Church in a town of Zhovkva on January 19th 2012 Rev. Myhail performed his ordination to the priesthood and appointed for Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Brody.
From March 6th 2013 Father Taras also became a head of the Ecology Committee in the Eparchy of Sokal-Zhovkva.
